The design of this table was born out of a desire to marry two techniques:

Traditional joinery techniques and burgeoning CNC (computer numeric controlled) techniques

By employing parametric toolpaths, this table can be made-to-order out of any sizes that can be derived from a sheet of plywood. The piece you see here is 2’-11” tall, 6’-7” long and 2’-10” deep. The precision of this technique allows the table to be assembled without fasteners or adhesives, much like simple and traditional mortise and tenon work. The table is made out of 3/4” Russian Birch Mulitply Plywood, but can parametrically be adapted to different thicknesses. Assembly can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/w7rrkiOe_O8
